Wedding Cakes and Sweet 16 Cakes

 I work individually with each bride and groom to create a custom wedding cake that is personalized and special.

 All of my cakes are made to order, with only the freshest ingredients.  I offer free cake tastings during our consultations.

     This cake was entirely red velvet with a cream cheese filling.  I hand made the white and red roses out of edible gum paste.  The bottom layer is styrofoam, and covered in buttercream icing to match, for added height.

 

 

 

This cake was designed for my dear friends Jeff and Diana.  Her flavors were chocolate with chocolate mousse, carrot cake with a cream cheese filling, and vanilla cake with raspberries.  Each tier is covered in buttercream icing, a piped vine and we used real daisys for decoration.  The cake stand is available for rent.

    This cake was designed for the daughter of a WOAMTEC leader.  I was a member of this wonderful group of professional business women.  She wanted a clean and elegant style cake.  The cake is topped with hand-made gum paste ivory tulips, and cascade down from a fluted column separator over the quilted second tier.     All three tiers were French vanilla cake with a layer of chocolate fudge and a layer of cannoli filling, and covered with buttercream icing.   The silver cake base is available for rental.  Her florist provided real tulips to decorate the tables. 

  

    This cake is one of my favorites.  I hand made the edible stargazer lilies out of gum paste.  The cake is covered with white buttercream icing and  piped black vines.  Each tier is wrapped with a watermelon ribbon.  The cake is sitting on lighted glass blocks, white and pink tulle and accented with butterflies.  The flavors were devils food cake with chocolate mousse, carrot cake with cream cheese filling, and Vanilla cake with fresh strawberries. 

     This cake was designed for Riley and Andrew.  Her colors were orange, brown and green.  I suggested Tiger lilies.  They are edible, hand-made and were perfect for her color scheme.  They are both into monster trucks and had to have a monster truck driving up this beautiful wedding cake.  I made the monster truck out of rice krispy treats, and it was a big hit.  

The flavors were chocolate chip with chocolate pudding, white cake with chocolate fudge filling and key lime cake with white chocolate chips and key lime pie filling.  It was covered with buttercream icing and I piped vines and flowers on two tiers.

   

    This is perfect for a Sweet 16 party.  They were not fond of fondant, so it is covered in Buttercream and decorated with fondant zebra stripes and fondant balls, which can be removed before eating. I custom made the topper to add height and a little sparkle.  Their cake flavors were strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, with buttercream icing as the filling. 

 

This was for a small intimate wedding.  It is decorated with edible magenta roses and a matching ribbon.  The top layer was yellow cake  and fresh strawberries.  The bottom layer was chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge filling and covered with buttercream icing

     

 

   This cake was for my wonderful daughter.  She isn’t quite 16 yet, but with a Cake Artist as a mother, she gets a special cake every year.   It was strawberry, vanilla and chocolate cake filled with buttercream and covered in fondant.
